On talking to Afifa I found to know that this Startup Idea was a solution to a problem which the team leader has faced during festive this year. It can be better if you have a glimpse toward’s Afifa’s statement.
“During this festive season, I was looking for established tailors who could stictch my designed dress and deliver to me on time. But I was unable to find any of them so I looked more then I found a Homemaker Tailor and She was so skilled that she made my dress and delivered to me on time. When I asked her that why is she not in market then she replied that she did not have enough resources to reach and make a position in market.”

How Silai Mitr is different from Market tailors and Why do they cost so efficiently?
Silai Mitr costs efficiently because they focus on women tailors which are running their businesses from Home itself.
“We focus on women, Our tailors are experienced and they are not sitting in the market which makes their prices low. This benefits our consumers as they can avail the best quality stitching at a low price. For example, if we sell a product for 370Rs then we pay 280Rs to the tailor and the rest which is 25% we keep it as commission which covers all our expenses and turns us to profit.”

“Our team has done a survey in Market which was responded by 600 people in which 38% of people said that we are unable to find skilled tailors in a radius of 1kms.
“We have identified a market gap and our startup will fill this. If we get investment then we are going to spend on promotions and advertisements as well which will bring us great traffic. In the tailoring business “Word of mouth” is the biggest promotion and it is availed when great service is given to consumers. If 1 consumer is satisfied then he/she will bring 10 consumers to our app.”
