Tech UP- This startup idea is powered by Business Blaster and made its space in the Business Blaster program in the 3rd episode. You can tune on to various news channels to get to know Business Blaster on which channel telecasts. 

This startup upgrades the computers of people and their slogan is “Your life can only be upgraded when your Technology is Up-to-date”. You can have a glimpse of the table of contents to have a better understanding of this Business Blaster Startup Story.

What is Tech Up | Business Blasters?

Tech Up is a group of 6 students who are working on upgrading computers. This happened when Ansh who is the team leader, likes to play games. Ansh’s computer has a very old configuration and During his summer vacation, He was unable to play games so he decided to build a new and lighter version of Windows. That version can easily run on Old hardware of the PC. During testing, they observed that the processing speed of the Computer was doubled with their new and optimized operating system.

What is their aim?

Ansh ” Our main notice is to give PCs to people at really affordable prices with great performances”

What is the reason behind starting this startup?

During the covid outbreak, our schools were shut down and we had to attend the classes from our home. We used online meeting software to attend the classes during which sometimes our computer used to hang. Secondly, we were unable to play video games on our PC.

As a solution to our problems, we have developed a customized version of Windows 10. We can use this operating system in a low-configuration PC as well.

How much seed money was given to Tech Up?

6 members of their team had received seed funding of 12,000Rs from the Delhi government under the Business Blasters program. They have utilized this seed money amount to make a demo pc.

What is the product of Tech Up?

Tech Up mainly aims at two products, Compters as well as Upgrading OS of Old computers. They have also claimed that Computers made by this startup cost between 15000Rs to 16000Rs whereas computers present in the market cost between 30,000Rs to 40,000Rs. 

You might be wondering how they can make an operating system so fast, So here are some points on which they have worked.

  • Removing the unwanted softwares
  • Removed the official antivirus software
  • They have added other software which consume less ram.
  • These all measures have resulted in doubling speed.

Team Leader” Our main market is students. If 0.3% of Delhi government schools which is 300 students to buy our PC then also we will clock the profit of 12Lakh rupees. We will also expand our product to the Corporates, Cyber Cafes and Schools.”
