On Tuesday, Goodfellows said at a conference that it received a seed fund of Undisclosed Sum from Ratan Tata.

This startup was founded by Shantanu Naidu 30 years old who use to manage Ratan Tata's Stock Portfolio and Office as a General Manager.

Ratan Tata has now backed a startup that connects seniors with young graduates to make meaningful friendships.

Naidu said that the idea of this startup was raised from his own experience with Tata, which is stated as 'Perfect Example of Intergenerational Friendship 50 Years Difference'.

Goodfellows connecting 50 Grand men and more than 70 Girls with Good friends in their twenties, which are picked after many rounds of tests. Most are Engineers and Graduates

Goodfellows is only providing service-based subscriptions only in Mumbai and soon they will offer service in Bengaluru also.
