TCS employees won't receive anniversary Appraisels any longer.
The TCS CHRO stated in an internal email that yearly compensation for workers who have served one year in the company will be considered during the following annual assessment process.

The fledgling Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES), a labour organisation based in Pune, took a harsh stance against the IT major.
"The corporation makes a commitment to pay employees a set salary when they are hired, but changes its rules later without even consulting the workers, which is no less than cheating,"
Anniversary appraisals take place when an employee has worked for TCS for a full year from the date of joining, as opposed to annual appraisals, which take place according to a set schedule.

Employees typically receive an email with a congratulations message and the revised salary when the evaluation process is complete (CTC).
The statement said, "All experienced hires will receive a rise as part of the annual wage review that comes after their one-year anniversary."
