Who is Siddarth Gupta?
Siddharth Gupta was born in Crown of India- Jammu and then he moved to Punjab brought up there. He has done mechanical engineering and then spent 3 Years in Germany as he got a 100% Scholarship. Siddharth is the founder of SID07 and he started his pitch by telling that he has got a superpower to invent something. He had this invention worm since his childhood and that is the reason he wanted to become an engineer.
Getting Rejected from IIT
When Siddharth was 17 Years old he got rejected by his dream college IIT. At that time he decided that a college tag cannot determine his future, moving to fast-forward today He is standing in Shark Tank India presenting his startup SID07 Designs to Sharks.

Siddharth displayed a drilling machine to the sharks and asked about the dust spread when a drilling machine is in use. Drill Duster is a product that is the solution to this problem

Sharks asked Siddharth whether he is a Businessmen or an Inventor?
Siddharth replied to this question by saying that he is an inventor but making inventions is not his goal.
Heated Argument between Ashneer Grover and Siddharth Gupta.
Ashneer got in anger after his answer and said that these products are already being manufactured and He has wasted someone else’s seat in Germany if he wants to do these things. He said that he is showing his German degree in Shark tank and suggested he return to Germany and get an engineering job there.
Siddharth replied that he has not enjoyed in Germany by vibing in Amsterdam. He has studied there for 14-15 Hours a day to make his scores well.

He said that he does not think that Siddharth is a businessman. He is just doing tinkering business and has not reached a point where someone will invest in his products at a good price. So he is out from his business.

She said that she is out for now as Today many students will inspire by Siddharth as he has proved that there is a life ahead of IIT. Students should understand that there are many good universities in the world except IITs too.
Aman Gupta
He thinks that Siddharth has confused many students studying engineering. This business is not business and he is self-obsessed, He should invent something that people will say he has invented a unique.
Peyush Bansal
Peyush said that he is impressed with his profile as he has some similarities with it. This does not mean he is investing in him. He also used to study for 14-15 Hours a day, Got rejected by IIT for only 200 Ranks, and then moved to McGill University Canada for his studies.
Peyush made an offer to him 25 Lakhs in exchange for 75% Equity. He will fund in the ahead inventions and Rs22 Lakhs as Debt.
Aman made the next offer in this for the same 25 Lakhs for 65% Equity.
Siddharth Gupta
He asked Peyush about the boundations as he wants to shift to Banglore to which Peyush also agreed and made clear that there will be no other boundations.
He accepted Peyush’s Bansal’s offer and said that if Peyush has confidence in him so he will prove it in next season. All of the Sharks Congratulated him for getting this much funding from Peyush Bansal and suggested he work on the problems.
Siddharth’s Review after getting Funding
I believe that I am coming after hiking a trek. He believes that he is not coming empty hand. He connects personally with Peyush and said that he will get only 5-10% only from any other company but here he made it 75%.
